The reasons were:

I am so grateful this wonderful historical writer decided to try her hand at writing contmeporary romace. This is her second, a sequel of sorts to her first. It was amazing!!!! Emotionally wrenching, incredibly hot, and moments of tenderness so sweet it'll make your heart ache. I adore this book and author!!!

I loved it too. I thought it dealt with a tough subject very sensitively. A great read, and a great follow-up to "Sugar Daddy." Hardy Cates definitely needed his own HEA!
